kle0012: I was just sitting on my computer, another normal day, when I managed to somehow stumble into love.

kittysyellowjacket: I don’t know what I really had intended to do that day, but December 18th 2006 proved to really steer my heart around. Luck made sure that out of 6.6 billion other human beings on this planet, Nathan was the one to find me.

kle0012: It took a while to realise why I eagerly woke up each day with a smile upon my face, running to my computer to chat to this amazing girl I’d met. For the first time in my life, she cared so much for me like nobody ever had, and for the first time in my life, I cared so much about her, I’d give the world to be by Kitty’s side.

kittysyellowjacket: The more Nathan and I chatted, the more my feelings told me that I was head over heels in hopeless love for him. For a time, I was disheartened by the fact that I loved a man who lived oceans away from me, and I felt it would be impossible for me to ever express my feelings. Nathan was the first person to ever really listen, to really be there and he was the first person I ever really opened up to and trusted with everything I had to give. I loved him.

kle0012: I suppose it didn’t really click what was happening until I felt her arms around me for the first time, and I was running my fingers through her gorgeous hair. For so long we’d only dreamed of being able to hold each other, to spend this Christmas in one another’s arms, but we made those dreams reality, and here we sit with our hands entwined, together, forever and always.

kittysyellowjacket: All along, I knew it was real. We had officially proclaimed our love for one another in May of 2007, yet it still seemed too good to be true. Nathan really was truly perfect and I really was just so madly in love with him. He was all I could ever think about to get me through the day. We would talk for hours on the phone and dream of the first time we’d get to touch. Little did we know that a year on from the day we met, we’d be waking up beside one another. It really all did finally click when I waited at the arrivals gate at Heathrow for Nathan. I hadn’t slept a wink and was running on adrenalin alone, I called him and he said he was just behind the wall. My heart stopped as I saw him walk out of those doors. I didn’t notice the World around me. Suddenly, there was no railing to lean on, but I just then found myself flung around his neck, smelling into his shoulder and just trying not to cry.

kle0012: From the moment we shared our first kiss, to the moment I slipped the engagement ring on her finger, the moment we sat beneath the Christmas tree and to this very moment I sit here beside Kitty, my heart has told me only one thing: that I am completely and totally and utterly and wholly in love with Kitty, my angel, my princess, and truly, the girl of my dreams, whom I will love for eternity.

kittysyellowjacket: From this very moment, I know that love isn’t just for fictional stories, but it really does happen. It is incredible what we have come through. All along, through the distance, our hearts have beaten as one. Nathan is my perfect prince and I shall love him forevermore. We care not about the distance, because we have one another and know that so soon, there will be no distance once and for all. Love isn’t measured in miles between two lovers, but it is rather measured in the moments that you share. The closest distance is between two hearts.

Together we proved that love conquers all, and that forever and always, we’ll be together.
It doesn’t matter who you are, or where you are, love really does exist.
